The elements of forensic characteristic of crimes in the sphere of violation of established drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors turnover rules are disclosed in the article. It is indicated that drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors of legal turnover are the subject of criminal encroachment in mentioned crimes. The ways of crime committing are violation of established rules of manufacturing, production, purchase, storage, release, sale, destruction, transportation, resending of drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors. Typical traces of violation of established drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors turnover rules could divide into few groups: 1) traces of violation of drugs, psychotropic substances an precursors manufacturing (production) rules; 2) traces of violation of storage, transportation, resending, account, sale (realization) rules of mentioned drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors; 3) traces of violation of drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors destruction rules. Crime tracing picture mostly is presented by the subject of criminal encroachment, by the things which could serve as a pay for drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors, and by the documents fixed drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors operations. Specified type of crimes could be committed by those persons who were trusted with drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors due to the performance of their official duties or were trusted for guard.
