Aims and Scope
“The Scientific Journal of the National Academy of Internal Affairs” prefers research aimed at improving law, management of law enforcement organisations and state institutions, dedicated to innovations, changes and transformations in the legislative process and public administration. The purpose of the scientific journal “Scientific Journal of the National Academy of Internal Affairs” is to create a professional platform for analysing and discussing trends in the field of administrative management and law. The Editorial board urges contributors to present manuscripts with a global perspective, focusing on the interplay between local legal practices and the broader global framework.The journal publishes the findings from scholarly work addressing critical aspects of legal theory, legislation, legal application, and governance. It targets an audience deeply engaged in legal and administrative studies, including doctoral candidates, educators, and government officials. These readers are keen on understanding the intricacies of legislative processes and legal implementation, along with their impact on the operations of both central and local governmental bodies.
Aims:
- publication of research analysing problematic aspects and proposing scientifically based innovations in the fields of law and public administration;
- establishing partnership cooperation with foreign scientific publishing organisations;
- adherence to editorial ethics.
Beginning with issue 3 of 2022, the editorial board narrowed the thematic scope of the journal.
Scope:
- Administrative law: study of the principles, forms and methods of administrative activity, liability for administrative offences, ensuring the rule of law in public administration;
- International law: international justice, international human rights law, international humanitarian and financial law;
- Financial law: analysis of financial and legal norms and institutions;
- Law enforcement: regulatory support of law enforcement agencies, challenges and innovations in the work of the national police and international police organisations; forensic science;
- Legal comparative law: comparison of law, law-making and law enforcement in different regions and legal families.
- Psychology in law: study of psychological aspects of law enforcement, behaviour of offenders, victims of crime, as well as the peculiarities of the activities of representatives of the legal system, etc;
- Psychological rehabilitation of servicemen: study and implementation of effective approaches to overcoming post-traumatic disorders, adaptation after participation in hostilities, support for the mental health of veterans and their families.
The editorial policy of the "Scientific Journal of the National Academy of Internal Affairs" is based on the principles of objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for publication; high demands on the quality of scientific research; obligatory peer review of articles; collegiality in making decisions on the publication of articles; accessibility and efficiency in communicating with authors; strict compliance with copyright and related rights. The main criterion in the selection of materials for publication is their originality and relevance of ideas, the scientific and factual reliability of the presented material.
