Article provides assessment of the situation related to rapid transformations and changes of legislative norms regulating corruption combating with special attention paid to procedures of the subjects (individuals subjected to income declaring) which, in turn, led to adoption of controversial amendments causing obstacles for police officers to perform their tasks effectively. The abovementioned amendments in the anti-corruption legislation, start-up of e-declaration procedures followed by considerable flaws in the course of its practical implementation, multiple interpretations of legislative norms, unclear limits between provisions of basic anticorruption law and subordinate laws regulating activities of special anti-corruption bodies’ staff led to deceleration in corruption combating process. Legislative regulation of procedures for declaration subject’s lifestyle monitoring is examined.
